Inlet Strainer Connector

Due to the popularity of stool tank pools, over the last few years the threaded connector from Intex has become perhaps the most difficult part to find. The original inlet strainer from Intex is frequently out of stock and the options on Amazon are often inconsistent and expensive (up to $129!). So after two years of frustration, I decided to create my own. Check it out below!

I’ve designed a very similar alternative to the Intex part, but made a few improvements! This threaded inlet strainer connector is designed to work with Intex and Bestway pump systems which use threaded 1-1/2" hoses (see below for the 1-1/4" hose strainer). It includes the threaded strainer connector, strainer nut, and rubber o-ring I have personally used it in my own stock tank pool throughout 2020 and it works great. In fact, the lower profile design is nice because it’s less bulky than the Intex and Bestway inlet strainers. It won’t gouge your kidneys :)
